Bookmaker.com Review
Why Bookmaker.com is a Good Bet
As with other top-rated books, Bookmaker’s strongest asset is its reputation. Ultimately, all we want from a book is to know our money is safe and that we’ll actually get paid when we win without waiting for months or having to justify our luck (sorry, capping skills) to management. Bookmaker offers this peace of mind and more.
Signing up is easy – just fill out the basic information, enter a bonus code, if you have one, and you’re ready to play. Once you’ve logged in, the site opens directly to the sportsbook and displays all the games available for wagering. And when you do place your wager, you know you’re getting the most respected line in the industry. Just as their tagline boasts, Bookmaker’s lines set the standard for all other offshore books. The site interface is pretty clean and easy to navigate. There are only a few ads on the far right of the site and not too many other images, so pages load quickly (something you’ll appreciate when trying to submit a wager two minutes before kick-off). Also, the navigation menu on the right-hand side of the page makes it easy to access your betting history, loyalty points, open bets and other key information.
Bookmaker offers all the typical goodies such as bonuses, a loyalty program and contests, so you don’t have to worry about sacrificing these always tempting promotions for security and reliability. But bonuses and contests aren’t what set Bookmaker apart.
The site answers the three main concerns bettors have when choosing an offshore sportsbook – can I easily and securely deposit funds? Will I get paid in days or weeks and not months or years? If I have a question or concern, will there be anybody on the other end of the line? With Bookmaker, US players can deposit via credit card (although your bank may reject the deposit), payments are processed quickly and withdrawal charges are relatively low – players get one free check withdrawal per 30 days – and the customer service is way ahead of the pack. Bookmaker’s customer service representatives don’t just compare favorably to their counterparts in the sportsbook industry, but to CS reps in any company or industry. After a few calls to Bookmaker’s toll-free line or live chat, you’ll start wishing they provided software support and internet-connectivity troubleshooting.
Why Bookmakers.com is a Bad Bet
It’s not. Bookmaker is a widely regarded and respected offshore sportsbook, so there really are no dealbrakers. However, there are a few annoyances to note. The site interface, while easy to navigate, is a bit clunky. It can take a few extra clicks to get from choosing a sport to actually placing your bet and the general layout just looks a bit dated. The credit card deposit option shows logos for both Visa and Mastercard, but, according to a customer service representative called for this review, the site only takes Visa. They do give you options and discounts for buying a Visa giftcard online, but it would still be nice if this was noted up front.maker.php
